At our pet-friendly apartments in Washington, DC—just steps from Nationals Ballpark, Navy Yard, and Capitol Hill—we believe our four-legged residents deserve the spotlight too! Each month, we feature one of our community's most lovable pets, celebrating their personality, quirks, and favorite hangout spots around the neighborhood. Whether they love long walks along the river  or soaking up the sun in our private rooftop dog run, these pets bring joy to our residents and showcase what it means to be part of a truly pet-welcoming community.



Meet MJ,  a 7-year-old kitty who originally came from Texas who spent the last two years living in California, and is now settling into her new home here in DC. She loves eating, sunbathing, napping, finding new hiding spots around the apartment, and waiting around corners to surprise anyone who walks by.


MJ may be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she’s the sweetest cuddle bug. She loves being close to her people and has a gentle, loving personality, just don’t be surprised if she gives you a tiny jump scare on your way to the kitchen!
